Using the Journal Update screen, you are able to enter either debit or credit journals for a child account.
Please enter a Description of what this journal is for in the Description field.
Please enter the Amount of this journal in the Amount field.
Please enter the date that this journal needs to be effective from in the Effective Date field.
If you wish to debit the child account (i.e., deduct an amount from the child account which will increase the balance owing), check the Journal Debit radio button.
If you wish to credit the child account (i.e., add an amount to a child account which will reduce the balance owing), check the Journal Credit radio button.
Once you have completed entering data on this screen, click the Update button to save the information and return to the previous screen.
