Switching between children: When in the Child Update screen, you can now select another child without having to navigate back to the Child Selection screen. On the right side of the child’s name who you are viewing, we’ve added a pink button with a down-arrow symbol.
When clicked, it shows a dropdown list of children where you can select a different child. You can also type in the box to filter this dropdown list. The dropdown list retains the order of children from the child selection screen.
If prior to viewing any child, you’ve sorted the children list by reference, the dropdown list will show children sorted by reference. After switching to a different child, you will stay in the same tab and do not have to navigate again. For example, if you are viewing the timetables of Leander Smith, when you switch to Kim McNally, the program will show timetables of Kim McNally immediately.
An age validation function has been implemented so that the 48 month Immunisation panel only displays if the child is 15 months or older.
Child Selection, Child Update, Accounts, WINZ, WINZ Update
When a child’s WINZ information changes e.g., change in hours, amount etc., you can choose to create a new WINZ record instead of overwriting the existing one. Infocare now keeps all historical WINZ records and uses the correct one based on effective date when you create a WINZ receipt. We recommend that you add a new timetable to coincide with this change so that the correct fees display on the timetable
N.B. a confirmation of enrolment is not required unless you change the child’s actual enrolment as well.
Employees, Staff Selection, Staff Update
Switching between employees: When in the Staff Update screen, you can now select another employee without having to navigate back to the Staff Selection screen. On the right side of the employees’ name who you are viewing, we’ve added a pink button with a down-arrow symbol.
When clicked, it shows a dropdown list of employees where you can select a different Employee. You can also type in to filter this dropdown list. The dropdown list retains the order of employee from the Staff Selection screen.
If prior to viewing any employee, you’ve sorted the employee list by Job Title, the dropdown list will show employee sorted by Job Title. After switching to a different employee, you will stay in the same tab and do not have to navigate again. For example, if you are viewing the History of Alexandra Thomas, when you switch to Fiona Smith for example, the program will show History of Fiona Smith immediately.
Employees, Staff Selection, Staff Update, When Away - New Look only
A Delete icon has been added to enable you to quickly delete previous entries.
Billing, Accounts Processing, Invoicing - New Look only
An Explain Fees button has been added so you can view how the invoice has been calculated in line with the Legacy (old look) version.
Reports, Staff Reports, Time Sheet Selection
If you select to Show Discretionary or Hide Discretionary hours, this same setting will apply the next time you log in.
Centre, Centre Options, Sign in Sheet (for Reports, Child Reports, Sign in Sheet – Print)
You can now select to have the statement “Children in Italics are Under Two” on your printed sign in sheets by selecting Yes to this option.
Reports, Group Reports, General
An Over 3 ECE Hours report has been added which will give you a list of all children over three, the number of hours they are booked number of hours 20 Hours ECE and Plus 10 funding is being claimed. Sign in sheets need to be created for results to display.
