Person Responsible
The staff/child ratio's warning indicators have been updated to include a check to ensure persons responsible hold a current first aid certificate.
Where the orange warning appears within the ratio view table this indicates that there are no registered staff recorded in contact on the staff timesheet for that period. The oranga warning also indicates that there are no staff recorded in contact on the staff timesheet who can be considered Person Responsible.
The system will check to ensure there is at least one, ECE or primary trained teacher with current teacher certification and a current first aid certificate recorded on the staff timesheet as working in contact with children.
First aid Indicator
Staff timesheets have been updated to include an indicator to show staff members who have a current first aid certificate.
A first aid symbol will appear on staff timesheets, next to the name of any staff member that holds a current first aid certificate.
Where a staff member does not have a first aid certificate or their first aid certificate has expired, there will be no first aid sympbol next to their name.
